1. Who We Are

AMFFL provides a digital marketplace where individuals and businesses can post, browse, and respond to listings for products and services. We are a platform provider only — we do not act as a buyer, seller, agent, or representative in any transaction made between users.

2. Eligibility

To use AMFFL:

  • You must be at least 16 years old, or use the Platform under the supervision of a parent/guardian.
  • You must have the legal authority to enter into binding agreements.
  • Businesses must ensure that their representatives are authorized to act on their behalf.

3. Your Account

  • Creating an account may be required to use certain features.
  • You are responsible for all activities carried out under your account.
  • Login details must be kept confidential.
  • We may suspend or close accounts that are fraudulent, duplicated, inactive, or in violation of these Terms.

4. Marketplace Guidelines

When posting on AMFFL, you agree that your listing will:

  • Be truthful, accurate, and up to date.
  • Clearly state the price and conditions of sale or service.
  • Comply with applicable laws and these Terms.

You must not:

  • List counterfeit, stolen, restricted, or illegal goods.
  • Post offensive, abusive, misleading, or discriminatory content.
  • Collect user data without consent.
  • Spread spam, viruses, scams, or other harmful content.

We reserve the right to edit, reject, or remove listings at our sole discretion.

5. Transactions Between Users

  • AMFFL is not a party to user agreements or payments.
  • We do not guarantee the quality, legality, delivery, or safety of items or services listed.
  • You are solely responsible for verifying offers and completing transactions safely.
  • Meetings with other users should be done cautiously, preferably in public spaces.

6. Paid Features

  • Some AMFFL services (e.g., promotions, ad boosts, premium listings) may require payment.
  • All charges will be displayed clearly before purchase.
  • Payments are non-refundable unless required by law.
  • We may adjust fees or supported payment methods at any time.

7. Intellectual Property

  • Content you upload remains yours, but you grant AMFFL a non-exclusive license to use, display, and promote it for the operation of the Platform.
  • All AMFFL branding, designs, software, and content (excluding user-generated content) remain our exclusive property and may not be reused without permission.

8. Third-Party Content & Links

The Platform may include third-party advertisements or links. AMFFL does not endorse or control such external services and is not responsible for any loss or damage arising from them.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law:

  • AMFFL is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including lost profits, data, or goodwill).
  • Our maximum liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the six (6) months before the incident, or ₦30,000, whichever is lower.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold harmless AMFFL, its staff, and affiliates against any claims, losses, or expenses resulting from your use of the Platform, your content, or your breach of these Terms.

11. Changes to the Platform

We may update, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Platform at any time without prior notice. We are not responsible for any loss caused by such changes.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes will be resolved through arbitration in Lagos, Nigeria, in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act. The proceedings shall be conducted in English.

13. Final Provisions

  • If a part of these Terms is found invalid, the rest will remain enforceable.
  • Failure to enforce any part of these Terms does not waive our rights.
  • We may transfer our rights and obligations to another party without prior notice.
